Hajar Hussaini is a poet and literary translator from occupied Afghanistan. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and lives in Iowa City where she teaches an online poetry writing class. Some of her poems have appeared in Pocket Samovar, Lazuli: A Journal of Literary Thoughts, and Atlanta Review, among others.
