Barbara Kennedy was born in 1959, in the town of Hartlepool. Rejecting their destiny, they fled to the Caribbean but after 3 glorious years were returned to England. It has felt vaguely disappointing ever since. As an adult, they rented their soul to Mammon in the City of London and other parts of the metropolis but retired early due to illness and existential angst. This gave them the opportunity to study psychology and shamanism, and develop a passion for poetry which had always been there, but never really surfaced. Barbara lives in south-east London a short walk from the Thames with their husband and a tribe of cats, living and dead.
